Anja Dahle Øverbye (born in 1981) is educated at The Art Academy in Bergen in addition to having a BA in visual communication from UCA in England. She lives in Kongsberg, and in recent years she has worked with both comics and illustration assignments. Anja Dahle Øverbye debuted with the book "Hundedagar" earlier this year. "Hundedagar" are a phenomenon that takes place in late summer. According to ancient folklore, this is a time when it is especially hot, all the grums from the water float up, food rots and dogs get mad more easily. It is at this time that we meet Anne; a girl in the middle of childhood and adolescence. This summer's intense clamminess and presence characterizes her relationships with both friends and family. The series is drawn with a sensitive line and a good sense of portrayal of people. The line also gives the western nature an important role in history.
