Kunst i Kvadraturen is a collaborative project between thirteen exhibition venues in Kvadraturen. The collaboration started in 2008 under the name "Kunstsløyfen". The idea was to exploit the potential that lies in the geographical density between the various galleries that participate in the collaboration.

In 2014, Kunst i Kvadraturen (KiK) took the initiative for Oslo Kunstløype , an art trail from Ekeberg, via all the galleries and museums in Bjørvika, Kvadraturen, towards the galleries and museum on Tjuvholmen via Rådhusplassen.
With funds from the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, the pilot project "Oslo Kunstløype Ung" was established. The target group in "Oslo Kunstløype Ung" is young people between 16-18 years old, and the project aims at increased art involvement, increased community participation and better city life. KiK invited the urbanist / architecture agency Edit Atelier and the communications agency Heydays as partners for the assignment. Participation has been the mainstay of the project, and we have invited young people from the start.
On the website OKLung.no , all findings and phases of the project are described in more detail.
