In 2014, Artin Kvadraturen (KiK) initiated the Oslo Art Trail, an art trail from Ekeberg, via all the galleries and museums in Bjørvika, Kvadraturen, towards the galleries and museum on Tjuvholmen via Rådhusplassen.
With funds from the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, the pilot project "Oslo Kunstløype Ung" was established. The target group in "Oslo Kunstløype Ung" is young people between 16-18 years old, and the project aims at increased art involvement, increased community participation and better city life. KiK invited the urbanist / architecture agency Edit Atelier and the communications agency Heydays as partners for the assignment. Participation has been the mainstay of the project, and we have invited young people from the start.
On the website OKLung.no , all findings and phases of the project are described in more detail.
