Arne Roar Lund (1950) is a Norwegian cartoonist and illustrator, educated in the graphic department at Statens håndverks- og kunstindustriskole in Oslo from 1972 to 1976. Lund's drawings are characterized by a tight line, precise pencil shading and a safe craftsmanship. In Tegnerforbundet he shows a number of drawings from courtrooms published in Aftenposten, as well as portraits published in Dagens Næringsliv. Among other things, Lund has drew caricature portraits regularly for Ny Tid, Aftenposten and Samtiden, and for several years he also had a permanent involvement doing portraits for Dagens Næringsliv - the Saturday edition. In 2002, a series of stamps were published with caricatures of popular actors portrayed by Lund. He has participated in Høstutstillingen several times, and has been purchased by The National Gallery.
