“About patient and conscientious observation of people. Especially the observation of people in situations where they have lost touch with their familiar props. Their usual routines, their clear goals, truths; truths about those they know best, and truths about themselves, tempted, like the rest of us, to believe that it is they themselves they know best. ”
Stories that do not tell anything. Specific. Pencil strokes form people; torn out of its original context. Who they are and what they do; is constantly changing. Radical Unknowing. Fragmented text. Own texts sat side by side with quotes taken from other people's writings, or noted free from memory after café visits. It is in the meeting between these, in the space - the drawings, the texts, the viewers - that the stories emerge.
