Within a political and very absurd narrative, the latest drawings of Christian Hennie celebrate the uniqueness that arises in the meeting between the two; when the absurdity of contemporary society merges with the political. Within the language of drawing, they represent not only a visual language, but a reality for social criticism. In his approach to the language of drawing, Hennie's work is clearly process-oriented in the form of collecting different pictorial languages from different sources, such as digital media.

Christian Hennie (b. 1978 in Oslo), lives and works in Helsinki. In the spring of 2009, he took his master's degree at the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo. This is his first solo exhibition.
