When I draw I let the immediate rule; the format is determined (not always) to hold back, to go in depth. But the colors, the tracks, the media are intuitive. The paper, the scale, the format change as I "pull" on. Simple, immediate construction, an inner logic, an inherent force of its own that carries the events forward. The connection between traditional technique rooted in the past and continuity is fundamental in the work, as a guarantee for the human and universal. The work arises through touch and action. The transformation of work into place.
