Norwegian black metal has both personal ties and a solid fan base in Colombia. The artist has taken this into account and created a work that can be read both as a tribute to the Norwegian music scene, but also as a social commentary on his own society. The exhibition consists of nine recognizable school desks. On these you will not necessarily find the students' scribbles, but the logos of Norwegian black metal bands applied with meticulous pen strokes. The logos are combined with visual comments on various violent events in Colombia's recent history. Here meaning is brought together to something third, which in a good way binds Norway and Colombia together. This version of the work was produced especially for the exhibition in Oslo.
