"Kodok's Run" was Ernstsen's graduation project when he completed his master's degree at Konstfack in Stockholm. The exhibition consists of two parts. One part is the book itself, which is an approx. 50-page silk-screened book with hardback cover. The contents of the book are folded together like an accordion, which can be pulled out so that you can see that the entire story in the book consists of one continuous drawing. The second part of the exhibition is the contents of the book without the cover, which then hangs from the ceiling in nylon strings. The first page is attached to the last page, so that the story forms a loop. The concept of the story is also that the main character finds himself in a loop from which he cannot get out, simply because he himself is unaware of it. He does the same thing every day, and is trapped in an eternal repetition à la Sisyphus.
The offset edition of the book from Jippi forlag will be available for sale.
