In this exhibition we witnessed the dissolution of the surface. The two-dimensional surface of the drawing is weakened and can no longer hold on to its own dimensionality and emerges as a physical object. Kalstad showed two works in the innermost part of the gallery, one of which covered the entire foundation wall in the gallery. This was a rather massive and colorful piece of paper that stood in contrast to the completely white and much smaller, other work.
