Who can apply?
Professionally active younger artists who are not over 35 years old and who mainly live and work in Norway.
About the exhibition
On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Norwegian Artists' Association, we want to investigate how younger artists aged 23–35 work with drawing today. Through this group exhibition, we will take the pulse of the present and show a diversity of voices and perspectives within today's drawing art.
The exhibition YOUNG DRAWING NOW! will take place in our anniversary year where we honor our history and where we want to see what the next 110 years can bring in terms of new voices that touch the art of drawing.
Drawing has always been an immediate, intuitive and accessible art form. It requires minimal tools, which gives it a democratic dimension – it is accessible to everyone, across time, place and resources. At the same time, it can be conceptual, figurative, abstract, spatial and performative.
We welcome contributions from younger artists working with all forms of drawing, from traditional techniques to experimental and interdisciplinary practices.

Exhibition program 2026 and 2027
Our exhibition program 2026–2027 combines Open Call in combination with curated exhibitions. The exhibition program 2026–2027 will focus on the diverse activity within the art of drawing and we are interested in a wide spectrum, from traditional expressions to more experimental approaches to drawing.
The jury consists of the gallery council of the Norwegian Artists' Association.
