Serieteket (Deichman Grünerløkka), Grafill and Tegnerforbundet are now looking for nominations for Årets tegneserie 2023.
The prize will be awarded to a Norwegian cartoonist who has excelled at a high professional level, and who has produced the best Norwegian cartoon in the period April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023. The award comes with a cash prize of NOK 30,000. The prize is intended to help raise the importance of Norwegian cartoonists and stimulate an increase in their professional level.

Criteria:
- The comic book must be published between April 1, 2022-March 31, 2023.
- The comic book must be an independent publication published by a Norwegian publisher.
- The comic book can be for children, young people or adults.
- The comic series must be an original Norwegian publication intended for a Norwegian audience.
- Comics that have previously been published, but have later been collected in a separate publication, will also be considered.
If the jury sees that key works have not been submitted, it can collect them itself.
