Finders, keepers

In the exhibition Finders, keepers, there is a search for ways to orientate oneself. Using a map, a course is staked out based on measurements and perception. Anette Heramb has chosen to present her findings with pencil and other techniques, at the same time as she builds with paper. By attacking the original material, an additive meaning arises. This is how stories are built flat on sheets or as spatial objects. In addition to paper, wood, twine and stone are also used, as well as other material that she finds around her. Heramb puts forward a thought of indulging in the dream - in the immediate and the elemental.

He who searches, finds, it is said.

Anette Heramb (b. 1981) has a master's degree from the Oslo Academy of the Arts, and a two-year preschool at the Einar Granum School of Art. She has participated in several group exhibitions, and has had an exhibition at the Holodeck exhibition venue. Of scholarships, she has received the Visual Artists' Remuneration Fund and the Sparebanken Hedmark Art Fund.
