In this exhibition, Kirkebø shows drawings in marker and ballpoint pen that depict cityscapes and interiors set in an imaginary future scenario. He depicts a chaotic society where the starting point has long been forgotten, and the architecture grows uncontrollably, forming a claustrophobic landscape seemingly without any beginning or end.
Kay Arne Kirkebø (b. 1979) has a Bachelor's degree from the University of the Arts in Bergen. In recent years, he has participated in several group exhibitions, and in 2012 he was also part of the Autumn exhibition. This is his first solo exhibition in Oslo.
