KAPSLAR OCH FRÖHUS

Tegnerforbundet is looking forward to present KAPSLAR OCH FRÖHUS, Sveningsson Krek's first exhibition in Oslo. In his work we see a quiet wonder at what he observes in nature. The exhibition consists of detailed drawings that have been created over time and that create a meditative atmosphere, on the side of the everyday hustle and bustle.

Invasive scenery. Intertwined chains of thought. Fluttering sequences. Ornamentation generated, against the background of a built-in grid. The marrow of the fern. A dance between the imagination and the pen on paper. From the black, the foliage is chiseled out into the light. Dusty sheets and layered membranes. A bench to rest your eyes on. The grass shed as an altar. Comforted by a rosehip bush. Cracking grasshoppers. Collective archetypes.
