During the first triennial week, drawings on silk banners adorned Karl Johans gate. This was the first time that original works of art were displayed as banners in Oslo's parade gate.

Før og etter strekenFør og etter streken , artist presentations, lectures, workshops, open drawing courses aimed at children, young people and adults, readings, film screenings, performances and tours were arranged, in addition to two side exhibitions that complemented and expanded the theme of the Drawing Triennale.
The first guest play Sjelen's ornamenter: Ornamentale tegninger i norsk outsider artplay Sjelen's ornamenter: Ornamentale tegninger i norsk outsider artplay Sjelen's ornamenter: Ornamentale tegninger i norsk outsider art presented selected works from the Trastad Collection at Sør-Troms Museum and Dikemark psychiatric hospital.
