On Saturday 1 December, we are arranging a book workshop for young and old in Tegnerforbundet's gallery. This will be a fun activity for the whole family. We will make pamphlets with fun, colorful covers in A6 size, which can be filled with drawings and collages at the end of the workshop.

The workshop is run by Lisa Bøthun who runs her own book workshop in Tønsberg, and specializes in hand binding and restoration of books. Bøthun has taught bookbinding at Raulands Akademiet, Aftenskolen in Tønsberg and Steinerskolen in Vestfold.
About the book workshop
During the book workshop, we will learn how to make pamphlet staples and various Japanese four-hole staples. These are simple techniques for how to make booklets and bind small books in a decorative way. The techniques can be done without special tools, so it is fine to bind books at home afterwards.

The workshop is suitable for children aged 5+, and lasts for 1.5 hours.
The workshop will take place in two parts:
1. Bolk: 12 - 13.30
2. Bolk: 14 - 15.30
Course fee NOK 120, - (includes material costs)
NB !: Children must be accompanied by at least one adult per family. The adults assist the children during the workshop and do not have to pay a course fee.
Tools and materials are borrowed from the course. Children should wear clothes that can withstand glue and paint stains.
