Do you have, or do you know, children between the ages of 8 and 11 who want to learn new and exciting drawing techniques? We are organizing the drawing workshop Drawing Possibilities with illustrator and visual artist Øyvind Torseter, where children get to explore playful and experimental ways of drawing!
About the course
In this workshop, participants get to try out different drawing tools and methods that Øyvind Torseter himself uses in his artistic work. Through drawing, you can tell exciting and fun stories, and with a few clever tricks, the drawings can really come to life!
Participants will, among other things, try drawing with pen and ink on paper, and special stamps will also be used. Coincidences that arise during the drawing process are used as inspiration for new motifs. The focus is on letting your thoughts run free and letting what happens on the paper guide the drawing.
The drawing workshop will emphasize play and experimentation, with a focus on learning and enjoyment during the drawing process. All participants will take home their own drawings after the course.
