A meeting between Ria Pacquée and Liv Bugge in the exhibition "Leda and the Swan", 12.01. 2 p.m.

On Sunday, January 12 at 2 pm, we invite you to a meeting between Ria Pacquée and Liv Bugge in the exhibition "Leda and the swan" in Tegnerforbundet. The exhibition is part of Tegnetriennalen 2019.

Liv Bugge, Andrea Galiazzo, Ria Pacquée and Marthe Ramm Fortun were brought together by the post-academic program HISK (Higher Institute of Fine Art) in Ghent, Belgium.

Ria Pacquée is based in Antwerp, Belgium. In later works, she has focused on video and photography where experiences she has gained as a performance artist play an important role. As a spectator and participant in the public space, she uses the camera as a tool in city walks where she examines anonymity, rituals and the metaphysical aspect of religious worship. These moments of ecstasy take place in everyday life where coincidences are crucial.

Liv Bugge is based in Oslo, and is an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. Based on conversations and touch as an artistic method, Liv Bugge's artistic practice examines how different normative structures maintain dualisms such as life and non-life, the human and the wild.
