On Thursday 06 December at 5 pm, we will arrange an artist presentation with Kay Arne Kirkebø in our project room. Kirkebø will talk about his different projects, his background and inspirations. He will visit the Black Death and Kittelsen in his own childhood, heavy metal, video games, technical drawing and futuristic architecture.
During the presentation, some of Kirkebø's zines and illustrated books will be available, as well as original drawings.
Kay Arne Kirkebø (1979) is a graduate of the Bergen Academy of the Arts. He mainly works with drawing, video and books / fanzines. Kirkebø has received many scholarships and awards, and has had a number of exhibitions both at home and abroad. Kirkebø lives and works in Bergen.
The event is free, open to everyone and requires no registration.
