Are you ready for an inspiring art evening with a guided tour, a drawing workshop with colorful pastels and a nice drink where you can lower your shoulders for two hours?
Tegnerforbundet and The Art Collective want to make art accessible to young adults, as well as expand the understanding of what drawing is and can be. On the occasion of the exhibition Læner mig ømt mod natten Tegnerforbundet together with The Art Collective invite you to a very special art evening on Wednesday 11 May at 6-8 PM. We want you to have a pleasant, informal and creative evening in Tegnerforbundet's gallery where we hope you can learn and experience something new about drawing that you did not know before.
The evening starts with a tour of the exhibition Læner mig ømt mod natten by curator Amalie Vestergaard Olsen (b. 1990). The exhibition presents eight young artists who work with drawing in various ways. Common to the eight artists is that they use drawing as a tool to engage ideas about another world. Based on two of the artworks, The Art Collective has tailored drawing assignments for this evening.
The Art Collective offers all necessary art materials, lends aprons and welcomes you at a colorfully set drawing table. The participants are guided through a variety of short and long assignments where we will draw with both soft and oil pastels.
Regardless of skills and experience, we welcome everyone over the age of 18.

The Art Collective was founded in 2019 and is run by two art-interested friends, Nora and Julie. They inspire, guide and facilitate so that more people can experience the positive effect of creativity. TF is a center for drawing art and an artist-run trade union . Tegnerforbundet is the publisher of the journal NUMER and organizer of the Drawing Triennial.
