As a preliminary processing of the grief surrounding a new mass extinction, Gn00r invites us on a sonic journey into "Tabula Rasa Utopium".
Gn00r is a dark-eyed musical concept that explores performative art, human and inhuman music. They work in an immaterial and bodily context, crossed with the material's own history, through lyrical and musical improvisation.
Throughout time, people have operated towards diffuse goals, under alternating instructions and incentives. Under alternating hegemonic teleological and/or theological delusions about the nature of the world, the human race stumbles forward in its fragile and perishable power structures. Somewhere in an alternating rational and irrational topography, our civilizations pass through time. In our time, we stand at a particularly bleak crossroads; where homo sapiens is about to introduce a new mass extinction on earth.
Gn00r consists of Hans Edward Hammonds and Fredrik Sele. Together they work with very special materials, which subtly weave the musical into a larger context, which is probably as much about the future as the past of life on earth.
