The innermost room in the gallery serves as a project room. As a center for drawing art, one of our most important missions is to convey and make visible the wide range of the field of drawing, as well as to contribute to increased knowledge about the industry. In this context, the project space serves as an extension of our gallery. While the display of various drawing-related expressions is central to the gallery, the project space assumes the function of a communication space.
In the project room, diverse, drawing-related projects are carried out for both large and small. Examples of activities that are arranged in project room workshops, artist presentations and lectures, but also the opportunity to get up close and personal with how illustrators work, during our annual project «Illustrators in Residence».
In everyday life, the project room is an open space that is for free use for our visitors. Here you can read in catalogs from current exhibitions, publications published by Tegnerforbundet and Tegnerforbundet's own magazine, NUMER . In addition, our youngest guests can use the room to draw.
