On the occasion of Steffen Kverneland's solo exhibition Self-portraits , we are arranging a conversation between Steffen Kverneland, Rune Johan Andersson and Erle Marie Sørheim in the gallery.

Steffen Kverneland (1963) is an award-winning draftsman, illustrator and cartoonist. Kverneland is self-taught and has freelanced for newspapers, magazines and publishers. He has illustrated several books, and has been a regular illustrator for Nationen , Dagbladet and Dag og Tid . Kverneland has many cartoon publications behind it, e.g. Slyngel , Amputed Classics I-IV , Olaf G and Kanon 1-5 (together with Lars Fiske). His latest books, Munch and A Voluntary Death , have given Kverneland an international audience. Kverneland has participated in a number of exhibitions and has been purchased by, among others, The National Museum and the National Library.
Rune Johan Andersson (1945) is known as an illustrator, children's book author and newspaper cartoonist in Dagbladet and Aftenposten. He has purchased several works in the National Museum, Oslo Municipality's art collections, Akershus County Council and the National Library. In 2005, he received the Riksmålforbundet's literature prize.
Erle Marie Sørheim (1982) is a journalist and literary and comics reviewer in Dagbladet. She was one of three initiators who started up the comics website Empirix, and she has published two books: Berlin - 100 unique experiences and Till Berlin falls - Norwegians in the Third Reich .
