In the conversation, we try to get to know Tove as a person. Sophia Jansson shares childhood memories and experiences to give an insight into what Tove was like as a person. We will talk about how the Jansson family worked together as a creative community, but also how expectations and different perceptions created an imbalance between the family members. We take a closer look at the oil painting Familjen. What can this painting tell us about the family's relationships?
We will also talk about Tove as an artist and illustrator and how she had to balance these different styles, as well as Tove's legacy. She continues to reach new audiences. What is it about Tove's art that still fascinates us and what nerves does she strike in her audience?
