In the period March 24 - April 5, we arrange the project Tegnerforbundet presents Microfilm . With this project, we want to dedicate two weeks in the project room to seven short films, animations and short documentaries produced and hand-picked by Mikrofilm.
The following films are presented: The World's Middle Fish (2017) by Cathinka Tanberg, The Leonid Storm (2004) by Kaja Næss and Julie Engaas, The Marathon Diary (2015) by Hanne Berkaak, You Choose Yourself (2013) by Kajsa Næss, Moulton and Me (2014) by Torill Kove, It Was Mine (2015) by Kajsa Næss, Farse (2019) by Robin Jensen, and Den danske dikteren (2006) by Torill Kove. The latter was awarded the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film in 2007.
The films deal with, among other things, existential issues such as the meaning of life and losing oneself, everyday stories with a humorous touch and societal topics such as growing up with parents in prison.
