In the period 02-20 December we show the project Tegnerforbundet presents Microfilm in the project room. During three weeks you can experience eight short films, animations and short documentaries produced and handpicked by Mikrofilm.
The following films are presented: Verdens mellomste fisk (2017) by Cathinka Tanberg, Leonidestorm (2004) by Kaja Næss and Julie Engaas, Maratondagboken (2015) by Hanne Berkaak, Du velger selv (2013) by Kajsa Næss, Moulton og me (2014) by Torill Kove, It Was Mine (2015) by Kajsa Næss, Farse (2019) by Robin Jensen, and Den danske dikteren (2006) by Torill Kove. The latter was awarded the Oscar for best animated short in 2007.
The films deal with, among other things, existential issues such as the meaning of life and losing oneself, everyday stories with a humorous touch and societal topics such as growing up with parents in prison.
Mikrofilm is an Oslo-based animated film company with a focus on individual directors / animation artists. The company is owned and operated by Kajsa Næss, Lise Fearnley, Cathinka Tanberg and Tonje Skar Reiersen. Since the start in 1996, Mikrofilm has produced about 40 own short films and lots of commissioned films. Read more about Microfilm here .
