Do you have or know children between the ages of 10 and 13 who want to learn to draw with different drawing tools? Then join the drawing course EXPLORE DRAWING with visual artist Beatrice Guttormsen!
About the course
During the course, participants will learn to draw with different tools, such as pencil, brush, sticks, charcoal, chalk and liquid ink. We will explore different techniques and approaches to drawing, focusing on both what we see and what we sense. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced drawing enthusiasts and beginners who want to develop their skills.
The course is characterized by play and experimentation, with a focus on learning and enjoying the drawing process. Participants get to take their own drawings home after the course.

About the trainer
Beatrice Guttormsen (b. 1973) lives and works in Oslo and holds a master's degree in medium- and material-based art from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, specializing in printmaking.
She uses woodcarving as a method of remembering things that have happened, mainly based on personal sources such as her own texts, diaries, memories and photographs. The repetitive, slow act of carving becomes a form of meditation and an exercise in remembering. She has previously held courses at the Munch Museum and the National Museum, and has worked as a drawing and painting teacher at Nydalen Art School for eleven years.
