About the event:
What characterizes the picture book in 2024? To discuss this, NUMER has invited critic Inger Marie Kjølstadmyr and picture book creators Kaia Dahle Nyhus and Øyvind Torseter, both represented in the exhibition Tegnerforbundets utvalgte 2023. We will take a closer look at their books and discuss the working life as a book illustrator today. We will also discuss what opportunities the new book law that came into force on January 1, 2024 will open up for book illustrators. The conversation will be moderated by NUMER-editor Fredrik Rysjedal.
