Thursday, May 16 at 17:30 we invite you to an artist talk between visual artists Solveig Ane Kirkaune Øksendal and Sara Rönnbäck. The conversation will focus on Kirkaune Øksendal's artistry and her current exhibition Opulence at Tegnerforbundet.
Solveig Ane Kirkaune Øksendal (1986) lives and works in Oslo and holds an MA from the Trondheim Art Academy, NTNU. She has had solo exhibitions and participated in a number of group exhibitions. The exhibition at Tegnerforbundet is her first major solo exhibition in Oslo.
Sara Rönnbäck (b. 1988) has a Master of Fine Arts from the Statens Kunstakademi in Oslo (2015). Since 2015, she has worked with Daniel Slåttnes on the project Conversation between Bodies , which has been shown in various formats at BOA and ANX in Oslo, the Art Museum in Nord-Trøndelag in Namsos, and Aldea in Bergen. Her exhibition series Ephemeral Situations has been shown at NoPlace in Oslo, Cosmoscow in Moscow and at Kurant in Tromsø.
