We invite you to two inspiring drawing courses with award-winning cartoonist Sigbjørn Lilleeng, known for the popular series Nagel ! Here, children and young people get the opportunity to learn from a professional cartoonist, whether they are curious beginners or full of drawing experience.
About the course:
Join us in the magical universe of comics! Through fun tasks, creative exercises and little tips from Sigbjørn's own working method, participants get to explore how to create characters, expressions and little stories.
The courses are adapted to the age group participating, and Sigbjørn sets up tasks and guidance according to level and interests. The children get to try everything from drawing their own characters to exploring simple storytelling in comic form. Together we create a space for play, creativity and personal expression, and no prior knowledge is necessary.

About the course leader:
Sigbjørn Lilleeng (b. 1983) is an award-winning Norwegian cartoonist and illustrator. He studied at Einar Granum Art School and the Norwegian Creative School, and has worked as a freelance illustrator and series creator since 2007. Lilleeng has received a number of awards for his work, including the Bergen Municipality's debutant prize, the Sproing prize for Best Norwegian series, the Ministry of Culture's cartoon prize (2008), the Ordknappen (2012), and nominations for "Cartoon of the Year" (2017 and 2019). He also has two gold and four silver awards in the Most Beautiful Books of the Year competition. With the youth series Nagel , he has created a comprehensive universe that is constantly growing, and which has excited both young and adult readers.
The event is part of the outreach program YOUNG IN DRAWING, supported by the DNB Savings Bank Foundation.
