Do you love drawing, building or exploring creative universes? Then the Drawing as Shadow Theatre workshop with visual artist Amalie Vestergaard Olsen is right up your alley!
About the course
In this workshop we explore drawing in an expanded format – as small, living installations. We start by drawing, cutting and pasting cardboard figures, which later become characters in a kind of shadow theatre. We experiment with lighting and see how different effects can bring the figures and the space they move in to life. The course gives participants a playful introduction to how drawing can be combined with form, light and space.
