The course is an introductory course to the course "Mellomrommet: Drawing in shadow space" on October 9th and 16th .
//
Do you know children aged 9–10 who would like to explore drawing as sculptural, living installations? Then we can recommend the drawing workshop Drawing in the Shadow Room with visual artist Amalie Vestergaard Olsen!
About the course
In this workshop we explore drawing in an expanded format – as small, living installations. We start by drawing, cutting and carving cardboard figures, which later become characters in a kind of shadow theatre. We experiment with lighting and see how different effects can bring the figures and the space they move in to life. The course gives participants a playful introduction to how drawing can be combined with form, light and space.
