In connection with the exhibition "My life! My choice?", the National Museum welcomes you to a family Sunday in the workshop. Together with your family, you have the opportunity to draw with colored pencils on black paper and put the drawings together into an accordion book that you can take home with you.

Meet in workshop A, 2nd floor, access via room 86. Children are admitted free of charge, but must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket to the National Museum.
About the workshop
The workshop is inspired by artist Hanne Lydia Opøien Figenschou's grayscale drawings on black paper. You can see these in the exhibition. You will also be able to see Erik Werenskiold's own copy of the book Familien på Gilje, where he drew his first ideas for the illustrated edition directly in the book pages. The illustrated edition was published in 1903.
